+ What are the requirements to open a Barita account ?
The following items are required to open an account with us : Identification - The following identifications are accepted: National ID Passport Driver's License Birth Certification (minor) Proof of Address - The following are accepted: Any utlilty bill (eg. light, water, cable etc.) Rental Agreement Credit Card/Bank Statement Letter from a Justice of the Peace (JP must reside in the same parish) Letter from employer (employer must be well known or form part of the public sector Source of Funds - The following are accepted: Last Payslip for fixed salary/last 2 payslips for commission based Certified printout of Bank A/C showing transactions that corresponds with investment Sale Agreement for sale of property Loan Agreement for loans Retirement/Redundancy letter for retired/redundant individuals
+ Can I submit all my required documents online ?
Yes, you can scan and upload all required documents. They should however, be signed and stamped by a notary public / public officer (Justice of the Peace, Attorney-at-Law, etc).
+ How can I add funds to my newly created account ?
There are two (2) ways that this can be done : You can visit the nearest branch and make your deposit there You can transfer funds from your bank to your Barita account. Please speak with a client service representative for additional details.
